Description

The fullness of playing a fine old original record simply cannot be duplicated with "Ersatz" LPs 
For sale is the original  PRESTIGE (US)  LP 7014 MONO "The NEW MILES DAVIS QUARTET" with John Coltrane, Red Garland, Paul Chambers, " Philly" Joe Jones.  The record is in very good quality. Glossy surface, no scratches, no distortions and has an outstanding sonic performance - let alone the Quartet.. Given the age, the cover is in very good condition exept two little splits at the upper and lower left corners (see picture) Please feel free to ask for further information. This is a private sale. Therefore I cannot grant any guarantee, liability. But  I will grant  return if you are not 100% satisfied with this record. Buyers will receive a Jazz bonus record of my choice.

 "Excellent"  by my definition is a record without audible scratches, distortions (if not originally caused by the recording or cutting process) or othershortcomings. Records are mostly graded with old type cartridges like Ortofon SPU, Denon DL 103 e.g.. 'Modern' , more analytic cartridges sometimes  may cause  more groove or surface noise on vintage records.
