This record has been cleaned and played through completely both sides on a Thorens Turntable as well as visually inspected under a bright halogen desk lamp to provide an accurate grading.
LP’s are packed outside their covers to guard against ring-wear & splits during transit and then placed inside a plastic outer protective sleeve for safe delivery.

LABELS : Clean

INSERT : a small residue stain at lower right-hand corner on one side as per photo above / otherwise fine

SLEEVE : a great cover here / no writing, splits, marks and the spine is intact / no edge-wear of any note / no ring-wear noticeable / presents exceptionally well and just about as good as it gets I imagine for this rarity.

DESCRIPTION

As far as combinations and pedigree goes you couldn’t ask for a better line-up with all four having been around the block a few times in various blues outfits including Chain, Carson, Bay City Union, Laurie Allen Revue, Levi Smith's Clefs, Mighty Mouse, Cam-Pact, Wild Cherries and Western Flyer … and that reads like a who’s who of class acts.

This was a “One Off” album recorded in conjunction with the "OZ Blues Tour" in 1981 by the two legends of the Australian blues rock scene and what a heck of an album it is …. the stand-out for mine is “Spring Hill” but there are so many awesome tracks here it’s easy to see how opinions could vary.

The back cover here has been signed by both Matt and Phil adding degrees to what is already a collectable and rare album that has never been re-issued in CD format.

If you are any sort of fan of Chain … or even Oz boogie-blues … then this album comes recommended with 5 stars …. in fact I'll just about eat my hat if anyone can categorically state that this doesn’t cut it !!
