Nasoni has made another heroic act by re-releasing this Texas psychedelia classic that what originally released on the highly collectible Rockadelic records in 1996. Liquid sound company is a group led by John Perez, the leading figure and guitarist in the doom band solitude Aeturnus. To be able to play he formed this band more mind-expanding music. On one of the tracks on the album the singer of solitude Aeturnus takes cares of the vocals, and John does a good job on others. At time the, John sent me a CD copy of this great album released on his own label of Brainticket, and I wrote a review for the Colossus like. My only, little complaint back then what the lack of keyboards or synthesizers, for example a Moog or some other analogue gear would'nt have been nice. John then told me, that he just couldn't get anybody to play synth, but on the second, even better LSC album even that little deficiency which taken care of. Exploring has aged very well the psychedelic, and still sounds very good. There are some oriental influences, hypnotic and pretty minimal, peaceful stuff and so some action heavy fuzz guitar on the album. Naturally, there are some psychedelic effects, sitar, backwards stuff and other similar things. A couple of the tracks are apparently the missing link between doom metal and psych.. There are no weak numbers on this album. Musically the album remains just the same, so there are no different tracks or re mixing, but the cover is () a gatefold with a lot of pictures and a long list of bands from the 60's until this day who have been influential is there, too.
