Description
RECORD : Joe Pass - Guitar Interludes
LABEL/YEAR : Discovery 1969
DESCRIPTION : This was sort of a transitional record for Pass, made during a lull between his World Pacific and Pacific Jazz albums and his discovery by producer Norman Granz. It's mostly solo guitar, um, interludes, but then there are a handful of cuts in the psychedelic soul/pop realm with a full rhythm section and group vocals. The best of these are groovier ones like "Don't Walk Away," "Peter Peter" and the excellent "A Time For Us," sampled by El Da Sensei on "Keep It Live." Nice, and quite rare.

We use a 75 watt light blub to grade our records. Our VG+ grade spans a fairly narrow spectrum of quality so you can be confident in all purchases. Our VG- grade will have marks but a majority will be superficial with some noise. Detailed information will be located next to the item's grade.
