Description
This is an American 33.3 RPM Stereo Long Playing Record by JOHN COLTRANE and ALICE COLTRANE from 1966. The title is "Cosmic Music". Label / Number is Coltrane CRS 5000. I believe that this is the only album released on the Coltrane label. John plays his two originals, "Manifestation" and "Rev. King" with a group featuring Pharoah Sanders, Jimmy Garrison and Rashied Ali, but sits out on Alice's two originals, "Lord, Help Me To Be" and "The Sun". The music is free and very haunting. Record has a few scuffs, nicks and pressing bubbles, but plays very well with good fidelity. Label has some spindle wear and scuffing. Gatefold Cover has wear, scuffs, staining, a price tag under tape on the cover and the photo on the back cover has been removed (see photo).
