Description
I HAVE EVALUATED THIS BE AN AUTHENTIC COPY OF, Introducing... THE BEATLES, based on the "Rarebeatles" website description of the variations on the authentic version. Also, this version has the RARE AND COLLECTIBLE HYPE STICKER FOR TWIST AND SHOUT AND PLEASE, PLEASE ME, which would not have been affixed to an unauthorized copy (I would imagine). From that website, here are the descriptions I evaluate this copy to be:
Mono Covers, Version II, VJ 1062 (2) MC1C: titles on back / "Please, Please Me" with comma / number "2" on back cover
Mono Discs, Version II, VJ 1062 (2).MR4A: VJ Block Logo, Silver on Black, "SIDE" all caps.
PLEASE NOTE: I would characterize both the jacket and the LP to be in FAIR CONDITION, so it would be of interest mostly for collectability. The jacket has heavy edge and corner wear, with a split on bottom about 3" from opening. There is a light ring front and back jacket, and a previous owner inked name on back jacket. The LP was found without an inner sleeve, a plain white one used for this listing. The LP has a sheen of light scratches, a few more moderate scratches, and spindle hole wear. I question the consistent playability of the LP - it was not play tested. The previous owner affixed a plastic name label on the label of Side 2.
