LP Human Orchestra; Rhythm Quartets of the Thirties (Clanka Lanka, 1985)
A real beauty, this amazing comp of 1930's black vocal groups that imitate whole orchestra's all with their mouths!!! Pretty insane stuff as you can imagine. No surprise that Lux Interior raved about it in the Re-Search Incredibly Strange Music book.
A must for every Cramps fan... the album contains both the Five Jones Boys and Mississippi Mud Mashers tunes that were described in that infamous interview, and also the Five Jinks track that Lux named as one of his faves.
Album is a true work of art... look at the beautifull label, and all the rare photos in the inner sleeve. Stunning condition as well, looks almost unplayed... cover is vg++. This rarely turns up if ever... first copy I found in the 18 years I was searching for it. Never reissued, so grab your chance now...!!!
