Description
The LP was recorded in 1963 and not issued at the time - clearly madness, why would anyone not release a Horace LP, particularly one where the rest of the sextet is Johnny Coles, Booker Ervin, Grant Green, Butch Warren and Billy Higgins! It first appeared as part of a Booker Ervin double LP called 'Back from the Gig, one of the 'Blue Note Reissue Series' LPs released in 1976. This auction is for the 1986 French version where the LP was released as originally intended with the Reid Miles cover and allocated catalogue number.
Excellent throughout but the cover is marked down due to some very minor wear and marking. The LP plays through with no background noise.
