LE CONDIZIONI DEL DISCO........ ECCELLENTI!!!!!!

IL VINILE E' LUCIDO IL LATO A SEMBRA INTONSO  IL LATO B QUALCHE LEGGERISSIMO SEGNO SOLO IN CONTROLUCE MA IMPERCETTIBILE .    LO METTO SUL PIATTO PER LA PROVA ASCOLTO,   NESSUN PROBLEMA.

LA COVER E' EX NESSUNO STRAPPO , NESSUNA SCRITTA NE SEGNO. IL DORSO E' OK . C'E' CHIARAMENTE IL  PICCOLO CONSUMO AGLI ANGOLI DOVUTO AL TEMPO, ALTRIMENTI SAREBBE STATA NM.

Questo è un disco veramente raro. Trovarlo in  queste meravigliose condizioni intonse quasi nuovo EX .

GENESIS - NURSERY CRIME

 CONDITIONS ........ EXCELLENT !!!!!!

THE VINYL IS GLOSSY THE SIDE IS LOOKING INTO THE SIDE B SOME LIGHTWEIGHT SIGN ONLY BACKLIGHT BUT IMPERCEPTABLE. I PUT ON THE PLATE FOR THE LISTENING LIST, NO PROBLEM.

THE COVER IS EX NOBODY, NO WRITTEN OR SIGN. THE BACK IS OK. THERE IS CLEARLY THE SMALL CONSUMPTION TO THE CORNERS DUE TO TIME, OTHERWISE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NM.

This is a really rare record. Find it in these wonderful conditions intonse almost new EX. This object under similar conditions was sold for no less than 250 euros. A rather used version "VG" is 70 euros. I think a good reference of the value of the disk that I present could be around 200 euros, but mine is just an indication or a hope. There are those who would also be willing to go further or those who would not buy it even less, while clearly appreciating it musically. I hope that you will respect the historical value of the record and confident of this delivery from the minimum price proposable or 0.01 cents and no reserve price.

Dreamlike, fairytale, full of great suggestions, "Nursery Cryme" is the first masterpiece of the Genesis of the Gabriel era, a fundamental album of English progressive rock, no less than the following "Foxtrot" and "Selling England By The Pound", with which is a triptych that will allow the English quintet to enroll in the exclusive club of the greatest bands of all time.

Year of grace 1971, there is a murder that is consumed within the walls of a hospital and a carillon that continues to play the same song, an old song by Nat King Cole, dreams and visions of Mr. Peter Gabriel begin to take form in "Nursery Cryme" (eye to the title Cryme, in line with the fashion of the period that loved to partially distort the names preserving the sound) which means first of all "The Musical Box", immortal mini suite of more than ten minutes that unravels from imperceptible and shy guitar chords and passing through flute solos and typically rock interludes, it arrives at a crescendo final explosive.

The Genesis guitar is no longer in the hands of Anthony Phillips, replaced by Steve Hackett, and behind the drums sits for the first time a very young, and for the moment silent, Phil Collins.

Michel Rutherford leaves aside the guitar ambitions and focuses on the bass, Tony Banks begins to stand out as an artistic and instrumental soul of the group, behind his tangle of keyboards.

The cover designed by the faithful Paul Whitehead (partly shot in the following "Foxtrot") recalls the theme of the killer nurse who plays golf with the heads of the unfortunate babies, but its dismal atmosphere will not prevent the British band from establishing itself with this record large-scale in our country, before in the land of origin and in the rest of Europe.

The scant 40 minutes of the album are a succession of exciting musical frescoes, where Gabriel and Banks build mythological stories and incomparable allegories, with the blaze in the final "The Fountain Of Salmacis", epic and dreamy tale that narrates mythical tales of hermaphrodites and water lilies.

There is also the right space for more aggressive solutions, and it is the case of "The Return Of The Giant Hogweed" which continues the most "hard" trend started by "The Knife" of the previous album.

"For Absent Friends" and "Harlequin" are relaxing intervals strategically placed as to subdivide the record into different acts.

But the real hidden gem is the piece that opens the B side of the vinyl, the misunderstood "Seven Stones" a creepy tale that tells of seafaring adventures, strategically followed by the disengaged "Harold The Barrell", sympathetic about a drunk who decides to throw yourself from a cornice, and in which it is possible to notice how much the voice of Collinsmutuerà from that of Gabriel (here to sing is Peter, do not be fooled by appearances).
