FAIRPORT CONVENTION "Unhalfbricking"  (Island ILPS-9102) original UK 1969 pressing (pink "block" label)

CLASSIC RARITY! Very first pressing (check matrix numbers) of FAIRPORT CONVENTION's third and possible greatest album. This copy is GORGEOUS, stunning pink "block" design label with unlaminated E.J. Day sleeve. The very lightest of handling wear, disc looks like it's maybe been played once or twice - couple of ultra-light hairline scuffs from inner sleeve. ABSOLUTELY SUPERB AUDIO, and nearly unblemished sleeve.

A must for any progressive rock / acid folk collection! Will be posted in strong cruciform mailer, with stiffeners - BUYER MUST PAY FOR INSURANCE, WAIT FOR INVOICE.

CONDITION : M-/M- (Sleeve/Record)

DESCRIPTION : I'll try not to drone on in too much detail and over-use CAPITAL LETTERS and EXCLAMATION MARKS!!!!! This record has been extremely well looked after. The sleeve is near perfect - it's unlaminated, so very fragile, and amazingly shows almost no wear at all. The very lightest of rubbing on the corners and I suspect it was like this when purchased new. Spine utterly straight and perfect, no edge wear and no ring-wear. Grades as mint minus.

Disc looks like it's been played maybe once or twice. A couple of tiny ultra-fine scuffs are all that keeps this off true mint. Audio is utterly superb. Labels are pristine. Best copy you're likely to find for quite some time...

SMALL PRINT : I am first and foremost a collector, and grade strictly as I wish everyone would. Records will be well-packed between cardboard, and sent in record mailers. In the interests of the environment, these will be recycled whenever possible. Albums will be removed from outer sleeve to avoid seam splits in transit. All records are sent with a certificate of posting, if you wish additional insurance please ask – I cannot be held responsible for missing parcels.
