Description

David Bowie and the Spiders from Mars’ Last Stand – His Master’s Voice

Released 1973

Recorded July 3, 1973 at Hammersmith Odeon. Guest guitarist Jeff Beck. Captured in stereo on Hot Wax TAKRL 1935

Side 1
1.    Hand on to Yourself
2.    The Wild Eyed Boy from Freeclod / All the Young Dudes / Oh! You Pretty Things
3.    Moonage Daydream
4.    Changes
5.    Space Oddity

Side 2
1.    Time
2.    Suffragette City
3.    Jean Genie / Love Me Do
4.    Rock and Roll Suicide

There is also some ridiculous American speech content at the start and end of each side, nothing to do with the gig, but possibly embarrassing if you play the record with parents of young children in the room!

Sleeve and disc in very good condition, plays well, a few clicks, but this is a bootleg record so the quality of the recording itself isn’t perfect. Some of the material was later released officially on “Ziggy Stardust: The Motion Picture Soundtrack”.
