Description
LP- DALE HAWKINS- "OH! SUZY-Q"- Chess LP 1429 (Mono) (Black label, 1st press original)- The cover is VG has a 2 inch piece of clear tape on top seam edge. Has a 2 inch seam split along middle bottom seam which is clear taped. Slight bottom corner split. Front of cover is attractive with no writing on stickers on it. Back of cover has slight writing (Chess is written on back corner underneath where the Argo notation is. Also some age stains overall on the back cover, mainly along the bottom lower back corner of the cover. Overall attractive very presentable cover. The vinyl is an overall glossy VG+ has light scuffs, plays excellent. Clean labels. Includes "Suzy-Q", "Four Letter Word Rock", "See You Soon Baboon", "Little Pig", "Tornado", "Wild Wild World", etc. One of the very rarest and best of the early Rock & Roll/Rockabilly LP's. This is an original press , not a reissue, or repro. No reserve.
