Description
This is a MONO repress in the 1965 or 1966 range (gave up studying discogs) with these matrices: Matrix / Runout (Side 1): O XLP-58717-3AD S Matrix / Runout (Side 2): 9 XLP-58718-2J S
Note: The "O" and "9" before XLP and the "S" after XLP.. are etched and indistinct - not even sure they are O, 9, and S, while the XLP.. is clearly stamped. There are also other markings around the matrix - looks like the number 11 or two distinct vertical lines.
Other features discussed in discogs on this copy are:
- 1 on bottom right corner (indicating Modern Album Finishing Co. per Searching for a Gem) - white ""360 Sound MONO" at bottom; "NONBREAKABLE" under catalog #. - Stereo cat. nr. appears additionally on back sleeve: ''CS 8786''
The previous owner was anal about cataloging and included an inked catalog number next to the title and taped the same catalog number bottom left hand corner, and inked her name back jacket. The jacket otherwise has light to moderate corner wear, light edge wear, no splits or rings. LP stored in clear plastic inner sleeve. There is one clear scuff line (not a scratch) totally not feelable over first 2 cuts just barely into cut 3 on Side 1; very clean vinyl otherwise with a tiny mark or two. I would grade VG++ if not for this clear scuff line, so I will grade VG+.
