This is an original American 33.3 RPM Long Playing Record by LIGHTNIN' HOPKINS from 1958. The title is "Lightnin' Hopkins Strums The Blues". Label / Number is Score SLP-4022. This is one of the rarest of the great Texas Bluesman's LPs and it's a terrific album to boot. Great Singing and Guitar Playing in that inimitable Sam (Lightnin") Hopkins style. The ten selections include "Katie May", "Short Haired Woman", "Little Mamma Blues", "Rollin' And Rollin'" and "See See Rider". Record has a few scuffs, light scratches and pressing bubbles, but plays very well with excellent fidelity. Labels have some spindle wear and scuffing. Cover has wear, some bends, cup stains on the back, a number in pencil on the back and the top and left seam are split out. Condition is: Record - VG++ Labels - VG+(+) Cover - VG(+) This is a hard one to find in any shape and certainly worth seeking out. Classic Blues from a Master.
