LP - Vinyl Audiophile Pressing
This auction proudly presents a perfect vinyl edition of arguably the rarest British pressed Beatles LP:
THE BEATLES "SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND"
LABEL / Catalogue number: NIMBUS SUPERCUT / PARLOPHONE PCS 7027
COMMENTS:
-This is arguably the best sounding pressing of this iconic album ever. This 'Supercut' was pressed by the classical music/audiophile specialist label 'Nimbus' and was available only via mail-order through 'Hi-Fi Today' magazine for a very limited period in 1984. The sound quality on this stereo pressing is far superior and unmatched by any pressing or format before or since and will not disappoint.*
-This rare pressing uses a standard '2-box' EMI/Parlophone label of the time with the standard stereo catalogue number: PCS 7027
-Hand-etched matrix numbers: XEX 637 A & XEX 638 B
-'NIMBUS ENGLAND' is machine stamped in each run-out.
-Disc weight: 134g
-The disc looks perfect and there are NO spindle marks, the cover is gatefold and also contains the (unused) INSERT
-For Beatles collectors this is an essential item, and specialist Audiophile dealers charge around £1000 ($1500) for mint copies such as this.

Gradings & Abbreviations:
M Mint - a perfect, probably unplayed record Ex Excellent - close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Only well cared for records will grade out to EX. Will satisfy all but the most demanding collector. VG Very Good - a used, reasonable copy. There will be obvious signs of wear & surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.- Any minus or plus additions to the above gradings will indicate a grade just below or above.
