Description
Extremely rare 1966 single 45 by the LA based group Love "Stephanie Knows Who" b/w "Orange Skies" on Elektra Records EK-45608 white label promo in the original Elektra sleeve. This record is incredibly rare because Elektra withdrew the record after only DJ copies were released and replaced it with "She Comes In Colors" with the same catalog number.
I purchased this record in 1966 and it is from my personal collection. It is not a reissue.
The record is graded "EX" with faint surface noise in the run-in grooves but nothing audible once the music starts; my name is printed on the flip side label (see photos).
The Elektra sleeve is in "NM" condition; the song title and my catalog number are written on the top left corner of the sleeve (see photos).
I grade conservatively based on the following criteria:
“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.
“M” Mint - a near perfect or unplayed record.
“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.
“EX+” close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.
“EX” a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.
“VG+” There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
