My listings will include rare and not so rare but as vinyl is in such demand these days I'll be covering the whole spectrum as I firmly believe there is a market for everything. All records have been played through at least once (in order to give a true grading) on my REGA P1 turntable (which sounds superb!) , which I bought from my Leeds stockist, Audio Republic, details of which will be mailed out with the vinyl. The fairs currently on offer are superb and are far more pleasurable experience than sitting at home, trawling the internet for those shabby so called mint records. Rest assured, MINT means MINT (no marks/no scratches/no spindle marks/faultless vinyl/faultless sleeve)....and I'm not afraid to use the term VERY GOOD which, incidentally, does not mean trashed !!!!....none of this "played once" misleading nonsense, the number of spindle marks on the label has no bearing on number of plays !!!!! None of this VERY VERY VERY NEAR MINT description.....it's EXCELLENT++++ !!!!! I'll be continually listing some great stuff so keep an eye out. AND REMEMBER, MOST IMPORTANTLY, VINYL IS FOR PLAYING !!!!!!

Hard to find in this condition......LOVE SCULPTURE "Blues helping" UK 1968 PARLOPHONE PMC 7059...MONO 11 track classic....Stumble / 3 O'Clock blues / I believe to my soul / So unkind / Summertime / On the road again / Don't answer the door / Wang-dang-doodle / Come back baby / Shake your hips / Blues helping....a couple of tracks self penned, others covers of blues standards by FREDDY KING, BB KING,RAY CHARLES,ELMORE JAMES,WILLIE DIXON.

MATRIX NUMBERS YEX 701-2 with stampers at 3 o'clock "G" and 9 o'clock "7" / YEX 702-1 with stampers at 3 o'clock "R" and 9 o'clock "1" !! FIRST PRESSING !!! SUPERB CRISP SLEEVE !!! CORRECT EMI INNER SLEEVE ! WELL CARED FOR VINYL....NOT OVERPLAYED !!!! HARD TO FIND LIKE THIS !!!.

SLEEVE

The classic Garrod & Lofthouse Patents Pending (File under JAZZ: Blues) front laminated flipback sleeve with pinched spine corners is in SUPERB condition !!! A crisp sleeve with only wear to the opening edge bottom corner, a few small laminate creases,  a very very slight barely noticeable ring impression...and that's about it !!!!! There is no edge wear, no grubbiness, no writing, no dings/dents, no tears, no seam splits, no stickers , no wear to the opening edge and no wear to a perfect spine !! The unlaminated rear sleeve is very white with a couple of small discolouration marks, and a small patch of very light wear to the lower flipback !!! FIND A BETTER ONE !!!! The sleeve grades EXCELLENT

INNER SLEEVE

The correct EMI advertising inner sleeve grades VERY GOOD++++

VINYL

The record has a couple of very light inconsequential totally non sounding surface marks/scuffs and only a few of the lightest sleeve removal marks/scuffs when viewed at an angle under a bright light !!! The record plays superb (play grade EXCELLENT+++) with little or no background noise (even between tracks and in the run off!!)..and no hiss/ no distortion/ no skips/ barely any clicks / no jumps / no loud clicks / no pops and sounds awesome !!! FIND A BETTER ONE !! The vinyl grades VERY GOOD++++

LABELS

The labels grade EXCELLENT++++ with a few (BUT NOT TOO MANY!) visible spindle marks on each side, with little or no wear to the spindle hole....clearly hasn't been overplayed !!!!

STILL NOT SURE, THEN CHECK MY FEEDBACK AND BID WITH CONFIDENCE!

Please bid with confidence as my descriptions are accurate and honest (check my feedback)....when grading/describing, as I vinyl addict, I always think "what would I want to know?"!.
