LOVE Forever Changes 1st Pressing ELEKTRA EKS-74013 released in 1967 on tan Elektra labels.

Very nice copy of this iconic, psychedelic masterpiece. These are VERY hard to find in good shape, this on e is a true rarity with excellent sound and nice crisp white cover. Please read below for pertinent information concerning this release from Discogs:

First pressings info: It is hard to find a copy that plays without excessive surface noise. This is not necessarily because the vinyl is of poor quality, but because the recording itself had to be mastered very softly (due to its length, dynamic range and stereo separation.)Elektra had this title pressed in 1967 by three different plants: Allentown (AL), Columbia, Terre Haute (CTH) and Monarch (MON). Each plant was sent a different master lacquer to cut from (rather than a copy of the mastertape which was more common in those days), thus ensuring that all pressings had similar high sound quality.

VINYL in VG+/VG condition. Overall VG+ with a couple areas on Side 1 where there are spindle wear that causes soft repeating crackle. The beginning of "Andmoreagain" to about the half way mark. Also some repeat crackle on 1st 30 seconds of "Red Telephone". Other than that, solid sound throughout with nice quiet background with the occasional pop.

COVER in VG+ condition with old yellowed sticker residue on front cover, crease on upper right hand corner, slight crease on left hand corner on back, corner bumps. Spine is readable with small area on "Changes" that has some damage from record starting to come through (see detail photos).

No inner sleeve included. Record will be stored in new mo-fi record sleeve. Shipped in proper record mailer with record removed to prevent splitting.

NotesGold labels with stereo printed on both sides of labels.

INNER SLEEVE In VG condition with creases, edge wear, yellowing, tape on bottom seam.

"AL" and "ARC" in matrix means a pressing from Allentown Record Corp. of Allentown, PA.
