Description
For sale - from my personal collection - the following LP:
ARTIST: LOUIS PRIMA (1910-1978, born-dead New Orleans)
TITLE: ANGELINA
LABEL: Prima Records, catalog no. ST-0074, STEREO, made in USA. Plain paper inner sleeve.
YEAR: 1973. Original pressing. Album dedicated by Louis Prima to the memory of his mother Angelina Prima.
CONDITION:
- front cover is NM
- back cover is Exc. (having: some light shelf wear in its upper area; one light crease by the upper right corner)
- vinyl is VG both sides (having on each sides numerous light surface marks) (visual grading)
Record was cleaned and tested, playing with no disturbing artifacts (hiss, pops, ticks).
SPECIAL REMARKS:
- the front cover has an AUTOGRAPH entered by Louis Prima in fine dark blue pen (as shown in the second photo). The original owner met Louis Prima in 1974 in New Orleans and asked him to autograph this album after a concert.
- the open album containing the autograph is being offered mainly for its invaluable cover
- the sale includes an identical SEALED "Angelina" LP as bonus album - shown in the third photo (that the buyer can use it for replacing the other record in VG condition so that to have a matching set in top condition). Selling as package.
- mega rare AUTHOGRAPHED album signed by legendary Italian-American musician Louis Prima, almost impossible to found another one in this status - where can you find such an album again?
