Description
An Original 8 Page Promo Press Promotion Pack from the mid 1940s. A promotion pack such as this would be sent out to the different venues and halls across the country that had booked Louis Jordan as a part of his and The Famous Tympany Fives tour. The pack contains biography and achievements information about the band and suggest how the concerts can be promoted in the local press and radio. Mimeographed print, the fist page is printed on The General Amusement Corp headed paper. The General Amusement Corp is better known as The General Artists Corp, the New York booking and Artist management company
