Description

Up for sale is Lou Reed's legendary "Metal Machine Music" 2-disc LP of white noise and droning feedback meant as a "kiss-off" to his record company and fandom. As a further insult,this version of the LP was issued in Quadradisc format suggesting that the discerning listener might benefit further from the added attention to sound fidelity suggested by the Quadradisc label. The dustjacket is gatefold format for holding both LPs and bears a "Promo Copy - Not For Sale" sticker on the reverse side. Dustjacket grades VG / VG+ (light general wear and a small 1" spine split beginning top center). The vinyl has the RCA orange Quadradisc label on both discs and grades VG+/ EX (nice vinyl...)
