Description

The gathering of three former Velvet Underground members at the Bataclan in January 1972 is something that can easily be remembered as one of the most important events in the popular music panorama of the seventies. The venue was too small for the crowd that milled around attempting to witness what was expected to be a true VU reunion. Far from being that, this gig was however an awesome performance by three of the most controversial icons of the 60s cultural counterrevolution. Here these black angels can be heard performing memorable versions of their best cult tunes like “Waiting For The Man” “Black Angel’s Death Song” and the closing hymn “All Tomorrow’s Parties”. 

180 gram black virgin vinyl pressing on Get Back Records. Heavy stock gatefold cover. Shrink was removed for photo op purposes only, and enclosed in a pvc outer protective sleeve. New copy.

The primary shipping carrier I use is USPS, although Fed Ex and UPS are also available if requested. Domestic orders will receive tracking at no charge with all orders. International buyers have the option of First Class Mail International, which is basic airmail service and cannot be tracked or insured, or Priority Mail International, which is completely trackable and insured. Registered airmail service is also available if requested. I always combine shipping costs, which is based on the total weight of the parcel, and adds up to large savings on shipping. Please contact me for shipping quotes for multiple items. All orders are safely and securely packed in record box mailers with bubblewrap; additional measures are taken for larger orders, which include additional padding, oversize boxes, double-boxing, and reinforced corners. All opened/unsealed records are packed with vinyl outside the covers to prevent split seams. Sealed records can be requested to be opened and packed in the same manner if requested.

  • Payment

All payments are to be made within 3 days of purchase, unless a request is made by contacting me for further extension. I accept Paypal as payment; if requesting another payment, please contact me for information. If payments are not made within 7 days, a non payment case will be opened; if payment is still not received, buyer will be placed on blocked bidder list to prevent from making any future purchases.
