ONLY the USA issue came with a lyric/picture booklet.

Here's a reallly clean playing copy of his wonderful third solo album.. When it was issued it was regarded a a disaster..Maybe the combination of heavy orchestration and the bleak subject matter of the songs (Drug addiction,depresion,domsetic violence and suicide) was too much for critics more used to Reed's more rock side..Anyway,forget them..It's a wonderful,emotional and intriguing reord that still sounds as good today as it did over 40 years ago..

Back up musicians include The Brecker Brothers,Jack Bruce,Aynsley Dunbar,Stevie Winwood,B.J.Wilson,Steve Hunter,Dick Wagner,Blue Weaver and Tony Levin.. 

Issued on RCA in July 1973..APL 1 0207..USA pressing in a non laminated sleeve...

Like nearly all the records that I am currently listing,this disc is in TOP condition..

This disc looks fantastic..(It does have a couple of tiny hairlines but they are minimal and hardly worth mentioning)..It has no scratches or scuffs and it still has a great sheen as well..

This disc plays perfectly..It has no clicks or pops and the sound quality is the sort that you would expect from a brand new record..It really does play superb!..

The disc plays flat on the deck with no edge warps or dishing...

The labels are clean and undamaged with untarnished text and unfaded colours..There is absolute minimal spindle..I doubt that this has had more than a couple of plays..

The sleeve is EX..For a USA sleeve of this vintage,it's in great shape..It has none of the bad dischape or seam splits which plague USA sleeves..Sure,there is a little cornerwear and there is a little fading to the paler colours,but it has no serious defects or damage.

It has no rips, tears,seamsplits,sellotape,tape marks,stains or scribble..The text on the spine is clearly legible and there is minimal dischape..

The booklet is undamaged...

Your are welcome to collect this in person from The Southend Record Fair (13th July)and then the second Sunday each month..Where there are LOADS of great albums and singles offered for sale...

Venue for this fair is West Leigh Schools on the A13..SS9 2JB...Record collections always wanted!.

There are delays on post going INTO the USA due to an increased scanning of packages at US Customs (Anti terrorist measures,I believe)..Parcels ARE being delayed and delivery may take a MONTH!!..

The Russian Federation is also having delays on deliveries ..This is due to the sheer volume of parcels going into the Federation..Again,expect delays!.

Shipping

All items are securely and professionally packed..Records are shipped out of their jackets to prevent seam splits..If there is an inner sleeve or a picture sleeve,then the disc will be packed in a plain white sleeve.. I try and keep shipping costs to an absolute minimum,byut Paypal don't help by taking commission on the postal costs!!

All items are posted the day that payment is recieved..
