LOU DONALDSON "LOU TAKES OFF" LP - On Blue Note Records, #1591.  Vintage MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63RD NYC address on the labels.  The label is Deep Groove on both sides with the "ear" and RVG stamp in the trail-off on both sides.  Thick vinyl, thick carboard cover.  The personnel:  Donald Byrd/trumpet; Curtis Fuller/trombone; Lou Donladson/alto sax; Sonny Clark/piano; George Joyner/bass; Art Taylor/drums.  The vinyl is in phenomenal M- condition (beautiful gloss), plays absolutely great.  The thick cardboard cover is in excellent shape and displays wonderfully.  There are NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  There is some very minor wear on the corner tips.  Address on back cover is 47 West 63rd St., New York 23.  The songs are:  Sputnik; Dewey Square; Strollin' In; Groovin' High.
