Description

This is an original U.S. pressing copy of the second and final LP by Lothar and the Hand People, released in 1969.  From Denver, the group released two psych-rock LPs with experimental elements (Theremin, MOOG, etc.).  Their sound wasn't as edgy as contemporary groups mining the same sonic territory (Fifty Foot Hose, Silver Apples, United States of America), and indeed, the electronics are less prevalent on their sophomore effort.  This isn't necessarily a bad thing: this LP feels more cohesive than the debut, and includes a fine cover of the Holland-Dozier-Holland chestnut "Heat Wave."  The jacket has ring and corner wear, and light spine and seam wear (EX).  The disc has some scrapes and scuffing, and plays with steady light surface noise and some crackling (VG+).

I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.

If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
