Muchachita (Girl) b/w Dejame Solo (Leave Me Alone)
Original, 1st and only pressing released in 1966 on Odeon "Pops", Argentina. You might be asking yourself, does the world really need another version of Lennon-McCartney's Girl? In the case of this exciting rendition, the answer is a resounding yes! Plenty of cheerful, and youthful enthusiasm, Los Shakers paid a touching tribute to their most obvious influence, and they did not fail to delight us, once more. Muchachita was not included on any of their three albums (except for La Vigencia de Los Shakers, 1975). The flip features Dejame Solo (Leave Me Alone), a baroque Beatles-esque pop piece, which begins with an introductory church-like organ, as well as heavenly vocal harmonies, and more organ arrangements throughout the song. This track was also never included on any official album at the time or now, and is only available here. For sure, you would be lucky enough to come across a copy, but particularly in such stunning condition!
