Description
Los Abuelos de la Nada is the debut album by the Argentine rock band of the same name, released on October 23, 1982, by Interdisc. After recording some demos in 1981, Charly García became interested in producing the band. Thus, they entered Panda Studios in June 1982 to record an album that would introduce them to society as a joyful band, capable of fusing funk, rock, reggae, and new wave. The album's launch took place on October 22 and 23 at the Teatro Coliseo. The single "Sin Gamulán" composed by Andrés Calamaro, would be the band's first major hit.
