LORD LEMON

UN MONTON DE AMOR / BOOM BOOM

PROMO

Click HERE and listen to our soundclip / mp3 of both sides

Superb, psychedelic funk by a mysterious studio group. Features "Un Monton De Amor" an alternative, South American take on the Led Zeppelin rock anthem, Whole Lotta Love. Obsessive funky rhythms with fuzz distortions, acidic flute, breaks and beats galore. Weird, whispering intro too. The "Boom Boom" side is a John Lee Hooker penned tune but played in a swinging mod jazz cum latin cu-bop style. Twangy guitar hook, congas and beatnik hipster vocals. Oh, and an equally weird outro. Top double-sider. For us, the superior single compared to their other 7inch (playing cover versions of Kool And The Gang and Flash). Disc cut loud with big production sound. Great For DJs! Seldom comes up for sale from mainland Europe ;)

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
RECORD - shiny, strong VG++ (closer to M-) regardless of a few soft audible pops (to intros) and some faint hairlines from storage / disc cut loud with big production sound / some background noises but to be expected on Argentinian vinyl
SLEEVE - not graded - original Music Hall company sleeve has light general wear /

LABEL - 'x' notation to one side / some light wear marks / natural age discoloration / faint old dirt marks from storage

After a 2 year gap, Pourquoi Moi Vintage is back :)
