You are bidding on the MEGA RARE 1980 LP "Sharper Than A Two Edged Sword" by Logos on Sonshine Records. Folks, they just don't get much rarer than this one!! According to Ken Scott's excellent resource book "Archivist, 3rd. Ed.", only 100 COPIES WERE PRESSED! I'd say that makes this one a "mega rare bear"!! Illinois based 5-member band included three brothers, Mark, Dennis and Allen Bevis along with Paul Catron on drums and Dave Likens (lead guitar) and they played music with a nice mix of rural/country rock with the previously mentioned guitar showing flashes of fuzz/acid here and there. Speaking of guitar, the group apparently liked the sound of the phase shifter as they used it on at least half of the albums cuts. By far the best song on the album has got to be the closer "Vision" which as Scott notes, "is the album's strongest cut beginning in an acoustic/psych groove with surging organ effectively transitioning to a hard-rocking electric riff." He sums up the album by saying "had all the songs been this good, this would have been one killer album. As it is, Logos is merely good". As usual, I gotta agree with Ken!! Everybody should at least get a chance to hear this one song, so here you go!! Although we'd love to keep it, we've added several top notch albums to our collection recently and we've got to make a living so unfortunately we can't keep them all!! Maybe one day we'll find one of the remaining 99!! By the way, we rarely have a starting bid over $9.99 but due to the rarity of this one, we think the higher opening bid amount is merited, can't just give it away! NO RESERVE!!
