Record & sleeve are still in SUPEREXCELLENT + condition (near mint) !!! _______________________________________________________ Formed from the ashes of the Guernsey Flowers then a name change to the unlikely moniker of The Amazing Doctor Octopuss before the band arrived at the more suitable name during the Punk zeitgeist - Lockjaw.
Written by the bands manager come van driver cum roadie, David Gallup brother of bassist Simon Gallup and future member of The Cure, he was unfortunately credited on the label and sleeve as D.Gallot.

The first of 2 singles with Raw. _______________________________________________ With the band is Simon Gallup of the CURE. This is the first LOCKJAW 7” from the noble year of 1977. This raw and unfiltered LOCKJAW 7“ was released on the same label where the punk bands KILLJOYS and USERS kicked out their singles. Original first pressing, released on ‘Raw’ records in 1977 (catalogue number RAW 8). The A-sider ‘Radio Call Sign’ is an uncompromising punkrock-stomper, played with the right F**K YOU attitude. The flip, a very well done cover version of the old Cliff Richard`s smasher ‘The Young Ones’ rules.
