Description
This is the "LOCAL ANAESTHETIC" 1971 UK LP by the UK progressive rock band NIRVANA - the 4th LP released by NIRVANA,
and their 1st album to be recorded on the VERTIGO label.

The LP was bought on its release in 1971, and is an early 1st pressing.
The vinyl is on the highly collectable VERTIGO label, number 6360 031, and has the following very early 1st press matrix numbers:
- Side 1: 1 6360031 1Y#1 1 1 1 2
- Side 2: 1 6360031 2Y#1 1 1 1 1

Record is NEAR MINT, the vinyl is unmarked, nice black sheen, with just 1 spindle mark visable under strong light, it does not look like a 41-year old record.
The LP plays superbly, and apart from 1 pip on the beginning of side 1 track 1, it sounds like a new record, with no pops or bangs, and is very quiet between tracks.
The cover is EX and is a gatefold with "VO PRICE CODE" and was not laminated, but is in excellent shape.
The inside of the gatefold is also in excellent condition.
There is just very minimal partial ringwear on the back cover, but this is hardly noticeable.
There is some minor wear on the corners, and a small area of wear on the top edge of the back cover.
The spine is excellent with nice clear lettering.
The record sleeve is the original VERTIGO swirl, with just some discolouring of the white background on the edges, due to its age.
