Description

Hello and welcome. Beginning in the 1960s, I made it my goal to collect every 5-star record still available, and I continued my search for 40 years. While not all the records I list for sale reached that lofty goal, they do represent an undying search for the unique and wonderful in the world of sound. I'm happy to be able to offer them to you now. Here is what you're bidding on:  TITLE & ARTIST: "Where It All Began" - by Various Artists on the Capitol Records label (SR ST 2544) in original Stereo sound released circa 1965. CONDITION: JACKET -VG+(Jacket has moderate overall age/edge/corner wear, with a 4" split in the bottom opening corner and another split beginning in the lower left corner, but is otherwise unmarked and spectacular - please see actual album in photo); VINYL - VG++(The vinyl has only a very few light scuffs - Visually Graded under custom spotlight).  SPECIAL FEATURES: An exceptional and rare album, this stereo version of "Liverpool Today" is a jewel - it includes informative back cover liner notes, including this description: "From its stage first came the great Liverpool sound that has engulfed the world." So there. Artists include "Earl Preston's Realms" - "The Richmond Group" and The Michael Allen Group" - "And featuring Emcee Bob Wooler (the Liverpool disc jockey who introduced the Beatles to the Cavern in 1961)." This is a delightful, very rare and highly collectible album, particularly in this fine condition. TRACKS: Earl Preston's Realms: I'll Be Doggone, Missing You, Blue Monday, and Daddy Rolling Stone; The Richmond Group: That's Alright, Cops 'n' Robbers, and I'm All Right; Michael Allen Group: Telegram, Evenin', I Can't Stand It, and Trains and Boats and Planes. Thanks! If you have further questions about condition or content, please don't hesitate to ask. You may bid with unworried confidence. Our sales history is your assurance of absolute integrity. Thank you and good luck. OUR GRADING SYSTEM: We grade visually, and we are happy to listen to any LP and give you an aural grade as well. SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
