Important information for our international customers- please read!

While First Class Mail International (FCMI) service from the US Postal Service is the cheapest shipping option out there please consider the following:

1.      FCMI parcels usually take 7-10 days, but may take up to 30 days (or more!) to arrive in your country.

2.      FCMI parcels cannot be tracked once we’ve dropped them off at our local post office. The USPS package number that we send to you when your order ships is NOT a tracking number.

3.      All international parcels must pass through the customs office in your home country. While we have no way of contacting customs to check on your package status, we’ve found it helps if you provide us with your telephone number and email address at checkout to be included on your parcel’s customs form. Also please remember that the buyer is responsible for any taxes or duties that your home country customs office may charge.

4.      In over 15 years of sending parcels internationally we’ve only had a tiny percentage fail to eventually arrive. However no delivery service is 100% reliable,  and the best ways to avoid potential trouble in-transit are either to purchase third-party insurance such as Endicia (we can arrange this for you!) or to choose expedited shipping options such as Priority or Express Mail International.

Canada

USPS First Class Mail International:  $8.00 for 1st LP; $3.00 each additional LP (up to maximum package weight of 4lbs)

Rest of the World

USPS First Class Mail International: $13.00 for 1st LP; $3.00 each additional LP (up to maximum package weight of 4lbs)

Grading

Mint (M): A sealed record, in original packaging and certainly NEVER played. We use this grade sparingly.

Near-mint (NM): Record handled/played rarely, with no visible signs of damage, and no degradation of sound quality. Describes many of our NEW, non-sealed records.

Very Good Plus (VG+): Record may have light visual marks/scuffs/smudges or surface noise. Plays without pops or skips. Cover may have slight ring wear, edge wear or light staining.

Very Good (VG): Record may have visible smudges/scuffs/surface wear but still plays without skipping. Cover may have minor seam splitting/tears and staining.

Good (G) and below: In order to maintain high quality of our inventory, we limit the use of records that grade out as Good or below to those cases where a record is so rare and hard to find that it justifies inclusion into our inventory. Otherwise you might see records of this grade only in our wholesale record lots.

Additional Grading Notes: We grade visually using a bright, 3-bulb photography light. Some items in our inventory have previous DJ/radio station use and therefore may have been labeled by the previous owner, in which case we will mention these markings in the listing. Examples include: "DJ stamp", "BPMs written", "Pen Marks" etc.

Packing and Shipment

We use brand new cardboard mailers that are purpose-designed for shipping records. Your record will be packed between sturdy cardboard and/or bubble plastic to prevent against movement, split seams and crush damage while in transit. If you have any specific requests as to how you want us to pack and label your package please tell us when you place your order and we’ll be happy to try and accommodate you.

Return Policy

Your 100% satisfaction is our goal. If your item fails to meet your expectations please contact us immediately, before leaving feedback, so we have the opportunity to make the transaction satisfactory for you.

IMPORTANT: Unless otherwise noted, all items must be returned to us within 14 days of purchase. Your item must be in the same condition as when it left our office, i.e. a sealed record must be returned sealed, and returned in the original box and packaging in order for return credit to be issued.

If your package was damaged in transit, please take a digital picture of the unopened box and contact us immediately.
