Nice teen ballad, with a backing group and even some doo-wop influence. Benny cut this song twice.
This was the first demo version (and the better one, in my opinion).
He opted for girl group backing on the second demo, which is also up for auction this week.
The writing on the sleeve reads "Only Time Will Tell (Benny Joy) Champion Demo -- Released back to Benny Joy, then
signed to Cedarwood Pub. Co. Inc. Cedarwood demo also available on this song. See Cedarwood demo tape."
This is an original, 46-year-old acetate, not a dodgy re-pressing! The Audiodisc sleeve has some tape along the seams.
Note: This was Benny's personal copy of this record, which resided in his collection until his death twenty years ago.

to Benny Joy over the years. This record is not my property, and I am not profiting from its sale.
Postage is $5.00 USA ($3.25 if you prefer first class mail). $8.00 worldwide (except Canada, which is $5.00).
Insurance is available for U.S. buyers.
Buyers in Italy must add $10.50 for registered mail. This is due to the unfortunate amount of theft in packages from
the United States to Italy. Buyers in other countries are encouraged (but not required) to choose registered mail.
