Description
This lot is for six (6) albums - and seven (7) LPs total - featuring LIONEL RICHIE: two (2) solo albums and four (4) albums from his band THE COMMODORES:
1. CAN’T SLOW DOWN (1983): VG+ cover, VG vinyl. Album cover is very clean - slight corner bumps and edge wear, but overall exceptional condition. Gatefold is very nice. Original sleeve has fold to one corner, and splits to all three sides. Vinyl has only minor scuffs and hairlines, and plays clean.
2. LIONEL RICHIE (1982): VG cover, VG vinyl. Much like ‘Can’t Slow Down,’ but with a bit more wear - still a clean cover and nice album all around. The original sleeve has no splits, and vinyl shows wear, but has no major blemishes and plays well.
3. MIDNIGHT MAGIC (1979) VG cover, G vinyl. Cover has a few faint creases and there is edgewear along the top and bottom of the album, but the only true distraction is the ringwear to the front and back. The heavy vinyl has multiple hairlines and a few scratches - there are audible pops, but the album doesn’t skip on my player.
4. LIVE (1977, double album) G cover, VG vinyl. The pronounced ringwear knocks the cover to a G, otherwise this is a solid cover - nicks and edgewear and corners are there, but not distracting. With the exception of a surface scuff/scratch at the start of Side 4 that doesn’t affect play on my player, the vinyl is in exceptional shape.
5. COMMODORES (1977) VG cover, VG vinyl. Cover is strong, with ringwear at the top and bottom of the front and back, and some sticker marking in the upper right of the front cover. Vinyl is very clean, with only light surface scuffs and faint hairlines.
6. MOVIN’ OUT (1975) G cover, VG vinyl. Cover has ringwear to the l front and back, some sticker marking in the upper right of the front cover, edgewear, a few scratches, and a name written across the band name. Vinyl is very clean, with only faint hairlines - a very strong VG.
Please examine pictures closely, as they are of the actual albums being sold and offer the best indication of the album, cover and sleeve conditions. Grades are my best estimate of Goldmine grading, but are just intended as a guide. When in doubt, I always grade lower.
Shipping will be safe and secure, via USPS Media Mail in an LP mailer, with tracking. I do not remove albums and sleeves from covers for shipping unless requested - just let me know if you want them removed, it’s no problem.
