Up for bid is a rare LP, "Strums the Blues," by Lightnin' Hopkins. This is an original press, released by Score (SLP 4022) in 1958. LP is VG+, with several tiny light scratches and some light scuffs. Interior labels are maroon with a deep groove on either side. Interior labels are clean and LP retains a nice gloss. Etched matrix info reads SCORE-4022 SIDE 1 / SCORE-4022 SIDE 2. LP plays a little rougher than the visual appearance of the vinyl (some crackle, tics, and some pops), with no skips. Surface noise may be reduced with a professional clean. (Although I believe some of the noise may be present in the recording of the music itself.) Listen to a couple of tracks from each side from this actual LP, for reference:

Jacket is G, with only the bottom seam still intact, although the bottom seam does appear to be mostly split along it's length. There is ring wear on the front and back of the jacket. Jacket retains bright coloring. Perfect for any blues collection. Don't miss this rare gem!
