Here's an original US 1966 STEREO PRESSING of LIGHTNIN' HOPKINS LP LIGHTNIN' STRIKES on VERVE FOLKWAYS RECORDS.  A very cool blues LP that's hard to find.  Ttis is classic Lightnin' some super cool blues songs played effortlessly.  The Cover and Vinyl are both VG+.  They have been enjoyed, but not abused. The front cover shows 2-3 small handling bends by the spine.  A very small amount of ringwear.  The back cover shows some brownish toning on the insert side, It has an original price sticker from Sam Goody in Valley Stream LI, and above that someone wrote a number in ballpoint pen.  The spine is very nice, but does show a few bends to the paper.   The Labels are very clean, and the LP plays perfectly. In some areas there is some very light background sound from previous play.  In other parts the LP plays mint.  It is a clean record, and a great play, but with the small background sounds I consiser it a VG+ COVER--- VG+ VINYL---    VG +

The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.M -    = (MINT MINUS)  MINT- is not MINT but is very close to it, near new, there might be a blemish or two, but overall record and jacket are like new or very close to new.EX     = (EXCELLENT)  The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. VG    = (VERY GOOD)  The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.G      = (GOOD)  The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.F       = (FAIR)  The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.P       = (POOR)  The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.B       = (BAD)  The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection fillerWe also use + or - to adjust grades in between, so...this scopes out to: SS/M/M-/EX+/EX/EX-/VG+/VG/VG-/G+/G/F/P/B
