Description
Oh what a great and rare blues album for blues fans who collect vintage vinyl!
This is the Tradition Records release of "Country Blues" by blues legend Lightnin' Hopkins. Sam Hopkins, a native of Texas with multi musical talents, has 15 songs on this incredible album. Mack McCormick authors the liner notes on the back cover that is a history of this one of a kind musician. The vinyl is in exceptional condition with just some light sleeve scuffs that do not impact the quality of the sound. The vinyl rates an EX as to condition rating. The original generic inner sleeve with seam splits is included. The outer jacket is in VG to VG+ condition that would frame up very nicely if one is so inclined with great art by artist Mozelle Thompson. There is a center bottom seam split about 3" in length and some light softening of two corners. Side seam with printing is excellent as to integrity and being perfectly legible. Back cover is very clear and fully legible with no added writings or other defects.
A new quality clear poly-vinyl outer sleeve is included. For extra protection during shipment the vinyl is separated from outer jacket and both wrapped with ample bubble wrap and shipped in a heavy duty cardboard record mailer. There is never an additional charge for packing.
