This is a more or less straight rocking crew, not too fanciful, but with some niceties thrown in. The opening track Riding Around is exemplary. Starting out as a totally uninteresting average rock number, it comes up with a hardly related middle part, boasting symphonic tendencies and well developed extended structures. But even though this here and there may mollify the listener, too much time is spent among undistinguished bluesy rock riffs and boogie rolls. A pity, since the better parts of this album (produced by Zombie Chris White) sound promising...(Tapestry of Delights
