 Description

This auction is for the book Liberty Records, A History of the Recording Company and Its Stars, 1955-1971 by Michael "Doc Rock" Kelly. This book is in what I would have to call virtually mint condition. There is a little shelf dirt on the page edges but that is the about only thing I can see wrong with this book. The binding and pages are about as tight as new. There are no marks, dirt or dog-ears inside. The cover is in great condition; the corners have not even been bumped. There is no dust cover and I don't think there ever was.

I believe this may be a first edition as there is no mention of previous editions or printings on the copyright page. Frankly, I don't know if there was more than a first edition.

I looked this book up on both Am@zon and Alibr!s and could only find two copies of this book. One was listed at $950 and the other was listed at $1000. Even if you buy this book just to resell it, my starting price is one hell of a deal. Frankly though, I hope it goes to a music lover who will appreciate it.

Shipping for this item will be boxed Media Rate Mail or Priority Mail within the USA (your choice). International shipping via Priority Mail only.

TERMS (PLEASE READ):

Payment:

All you should have to do at the end of an auction is click "Pay Now". There is no need to ask for an invoice or wait for one. I will send an invoice if you want one but my first priority will be to mail the items I have been paid for. Since Ebay wants to line their own pockets under the guise of "security", I am no longer allowed to say I accept forms of payment other than Paypal.

Shipping:

Unlike some other sellers, I'm not out to make money on the shipping. Ebay's recent rule changes force me to estimate the shipping to your location. This estimate includes a small amount (about $1.00 for average box) to cover Delivery Confirmation (Signature Delivery Confirmation for items expected to go over $100) and to help cover the costs of all those petroleum based packing materials (peanuts, bubble wrap, etc). Most items are also insured in case of loss/damage.

On heavier or oversize items, I may ship via FEDEX GROUND to try to save you money and/or delivery time. Unfortunately I cannot show that rate on Ebay as a separate rate. I will refund any significant savings (over $1 or so).

Similarly, if I can combine shipping for you I will and will refund any significant savings. Please note that I will not combine items if their size of nature makes it impractical or dangerous (I won't ship a lead weight and a porcelain vase together).

International Shipping:

International buyer's are responsible for their country's import duty or tariffs. International payments made via Paypal may require additional postage to include a tracking number or signature receipt.

I will only ship internationally using PRIORITY MAIL, Registered Mail or Express Mail. I've tried to be a nice guy and offered to use First Class Mail but have had several international buyers ask me to use First CLass Mail, which cannot be tracked or insured, despite my warnings and then claim they never got the item. I got stuck for those items so from now on I only ship with trackable, insurable mail.

 ETC:

I don't claim to be an expert or collector of the things I sell. I sell a wide variety of items and may not know that a light is supposed to go on when a certain button is pushed or that an item is supposed to have 6 pieces instead of 5. I try very hard to describe things as best as I can and provide good photographs. Please look at the photos, if you don't see something ask me, don't assume that it is there. Please don't expect me to be able to answer your more technical or historical questions. If you can put it in words I understand or tell me where to look, I'll do my best to answer your question.

Unless otherwise stated above, all items sold are used and should be considered to be in used condition. The level of performance or strength of an item may have changed as a result of use and time. All items are sold as shown and "AS IS".

I do NOT pay return postage.

I MUST be notified of any problems within 5 days of receipt of item.

Buyer assumes full and total responsibility for any use or misuse of this item.

 Payment Terms
Just click on "Pay Now" at the end of the auction. No need to ask for or wait for an invoice. If I can ship more cheaply or combine items I will refund any significant postage savings.
 Shipping Terms
I MUST be notified of any problems WITHIN 5 DAYS OF RECEIPT. Items paid for using Paypal MUST be sent to your address registered with Paypal.
