LET THEM EAT JELLYBEANS! LP rare punk doa dk bad brains
There's something about this one that when spinning, continuously screams out "absolute classic". The scope of the compilation expresses the critical notion that not only "true" hardcore music and it's sibling, "genuine" punk music manages to do at it's best, that the rejection of the status quo can result in harshly original music. There's something here for everyone, ironic as it may be. Side 1 is "hardcore's greatest hits," so it's great, Side 2 is the "experimental side" and is hit or miss with a lot of people.At least two of the cuts on the punk side of the album have never been issued in the same form heard on Let Them Eat Jellybeans. The version of Black Flag's "Police Story" heard on ...Jellybeans! was recorded during the sessions for the Six Pack EP and features Dez Cadena on lead vocals. The version of Dead Kennedys' "Nazi Punks Fuck Off!" is a wholly different recording than the versions heard on both In God We Trust, Inc. and the "Nazi Punks Fuck Off!" single.

Corners are a bit dinged, slight crease on cover. Includes double-sided poster insert!

MINT (M):The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover is in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise. It may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
