I make no apologies for the reserve price on this magnificent album by THE BEATLES as you wouldn’t be able to find a better copy if you could walk into a record shop tomorrow & pick a new one off the shelf. This is truly flawless. A one off masterpiece by the biggest group of all time, complete in every way & in 100% pristine condition. I have owned this LP since its release on 8th May 1970. It has been very carefully stored & had no exposure to heat or light. Any owners of the BOX SET quickly realised its potential as a collectable & how difficult it was to keep the set in great condition as well as enjoy the music. The answer was obvious, well to me anyway. Store the BOX SET for a rainy day & buy another, less collectable, version of LET IT BE for playing on your record player. Therefore, despite this package being over 35 years of age the record is MINT, no surface wear, plays fine & the heavy duty, high quality vinyl shines like new. The GET BACK book has never been opened, let alone read, the new owner can be the first person to leaf through the memories, traumas & law suits that accompanied the release of this wonderful package. Every inch of the cardboard inner is completely intact & looks as fresh & sharp as it did 35 years ago. The laminated outer sleeve is MINT in every way as is the laminated album sleeve, which of course has the RED APPLE unique to the BOX SET version. Matrix No.’s side 1: YEX 773-20 with 3 at 9 o’clock position & GA at 3 o’clock position, side 2: YEX 774-20 with 4 at 9 o’clock position & GH at 3 o’clock position.
