Beatles Club Release
“Les Beatles”
Dans Leurs 14 Plus Grands Succes
Here is the ALBUM by LES BEATLES titled DANS LEURS 14 PLUS GRANDS SUCCES. One of the HARDEST BEATLES ALBUMS to find and very desirable as there wasn't another GREATEST HITS available at that time.
This is an ORIGINAL FRENCH MONO PRESSING released on the DARK BLUE ODEON RECORD LABEL (rarer than the ORANGE LABEL) in the Mid 60's.
catalogue No: OSX 231.
Matrix No.s
Side 1 Run off Groove stampers:
P1
CBS OSX 231.
LPL 3585 380
Side 2 Run off Groove stampers:
P
CBS OSX 231
LPL 3856 D1 380
Earliest Blue and Silver Odeon Label.
The earliest Odeon label style has ODÉON in large letters across the top of the label. Before some time in early 1964, the labels were dark blue in colour, but for most of the mid 60's they were orange.
NOTE: ALL of the OSX series are hard to find and thus difficult to pinpoint values for. All values should be considered approximate. 14 Greatest Hits (shown above) is particularly desired because it was a "hits" compilation that was not available elsewhere.
