Description
From 1954, comes Les Baxter with his LP The Passions featuring Bas Sheva on Capitol LAL486 MONO maroon label 10 inch. The LP features 10 songs. The songs are a musical and vocal interpretaion of a woman's passions. They feature the other-worldly and distrurbing vocals by Bas Sheva(Bernice Kanefsky). She howls, she grunts, snorts and makes many other unusual noises that make this a required listening experience! This LP was WAY ahead of its time! It was so far ahead of its time that it was a dismal sales failure! The LP is housed in a special box which includes the original plastic envelope bag the LP came in, both Capitol FDS stickers (Full Dimensional Sound) and an 8 page book describing the album with a page devoted to the technical side of the recording and also other albums for the audiophile! There is also a pamphlet advertising other records available on Capitol at this time.

Minor white on the inside black cover of box,tiny nicks to slick upper left,high spot rubs,light stains on rear cover,small split middle of back box flap(hidden by front flap). Amazingly, both halves the box are firmly attached!
Cover (box) is VG++, record has spindle mark and is MINT MINUS!!!
