Description

Here's late '70s Almo/Irving publishing acetate containing an unreleased song with music by Leon Ware and vocals credited only to "Marcie" (see photo of label above). It's a catchy, fizzy modern soul-disco track with great production. A more contemporary version of the song was recorded in 2009 by Sylvia St. James, but this one remains something of a mystery. The disc is in VG+ condition with some light surface scuffs and excellent playback—note that the label has staining. The audio linked below comes directly from this copy:
