COVER CONDITION : NO COVER, as issued.

VINYL CONDITION : side one VG due to a 1cm scratch in track A3 that causes ticks, otherwise just scuffs & minor surface marks / side two VG+ scuffs & minor surface marks. other then the mentioned scratch plays well with some surface noise but nice fidelity. 

NOTES : extremely rare & obscure original 1959 private pressing. these were made by the school for friends & family, never made available for public sale. very few copies pressed at the time, issued without packaging. the lenox school was summer camp for young musicians started in 1957, with staff including many of greatest players of the day. this live recording features DON CHERRY, ORNETTE COLEMAN, STEVE KUHN, PERRY ROBINSON, ATTILA ZOLLER, GARY McFARLAND, KENNY DORHAM, among others. this was the only original pressing made, and has never had an official reissue. a real treasure for any serious jazz collector, and not likely to turn up again any time soon… theres plenty of info on the web about the school & this historic recording, well worth looking into for more interesting details...

- for grading i use : M (rarely) / NM / NM- / EX / VG++ / VG+ / VG / VG- / F graded under bright bare-bulb direct light… unless there are specific mentions of audio quality please consider grading as VISUAL ONLY.

- i pack very solid using new high quality heavy weight lp mailers with two (or more) new cardboard filler pads. all unsealed lps are shipped out of the cover, and new inner sleeves & polybags will be added when needed. always willing to double box, etc. as requested, at slight extra cost.

lp - $10.00-$16.00 priority mail in the usa, rates vary. 

lp - $15.00 1st class airmail to canada.

lp - $24.00 overseas 1st class airmail.

lp - $36.00 overseas registered airmail.
