This is a RARE ORIGINAL NEAR MINT UK PRESSINGS OF THE POWER POP / PUNK / NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL CROSS OVER single by the band LEISURE ADDICTS from 1980, ORIGINAL UK FIRST PRESSINGS IN BARELY PLAYED CONDITION AND A MUST !!! I have seen this single mentioned as a 1979 release, but from my research it came out in 1980. It is a real DIY job and I have only seen a handful of copies for sale in 32 years !!! The A side: "SUBWAY SUICIDE" is a real fast POWER POP / PUNK blaster that would appeal to collectors of PUNK and POWER POP while the B. side "PREFAB 13" is more in the NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL style with long guitar solo and a slight PROG feel !!! The single came out on the band's own ADDICTIVE MUSIC RECORDS, the catalogue number is: ADIC 1. The tracks are: SUBWAY SUICIDE / PREFAB 13. The single never came with a P/S and the condition of the VINYL is: EX++/ EX+++ (PLAYED TWICE ONLY ).
DON'T LET THIS POWER POP / PUNK / NEW WAVE OF BRITISH HEAVY METAL cross over 7" single get away as you will NEVER see another one especially in this condition.
