THIS IS A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL UK ISSUE OF BLIND GARY DAVIS’S “PURE RELIGION AND BAD COMPANY” LP ON THE OBSCURE 77 RECORDS LABEL AND IS SERIOUSLY RARE IN THIS CONDITION! MOST COPIES OF THIS RARE LP GOT KNOCKED AROUND SO IT IS CONSEQUENTLY HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION! THE VINYL IS IN PERFECT CONDITION. THE COVER IS IN ALMOST PERFECT CONDITION. DONT MISS THIS VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY!
The Catalogue Number is 77 LA 12/14 on the red 77 RECORDS label.
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and NO spindle marks. I BOUGHT THIS RECORD SHORTLY AFTER IT CAME OUT AND IT HAS RARELY BEEN PLAYED AND THEN ONLY ON TOP QUALITY HI-FI EQUIPMENT. The vinyl is in SUPERB condition with NO scratches, NO scuff marks and NO signs of wear. THE RECORD STILL RETAINS EVERY BIT OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK! The record sounds as STUNNING as the visual! It plays with CRYSTAL CLEAR UNDISTORTED SOUND, NO sticking, NO jumps, and NO crackle! The record plays SUPERBLY with ZERO DISTORTION! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way! Brilliant!!
The laminated cover featuring a superb photograph of Gary Davis is in ALMOST MINT condition (see pictures)! It has NO wear to the spine. There is ONLY THE SLIGHTEST wear to the EXTREME bottom left corner of the front cover. There is a 1.5cm and a 2cm horizontal crease from the left edge of the front cover. The laminate has come away slightly at the EXTREME left edge of the front cover. There are absolutely NO blemishes at all to the back cover apart from the laminate coming away 1 cm from the right hand edge of the back cover (see picture). The cover is firm and strong. There is NO EVIDENCE of rubbing of the surface of the cover over the years, NO ringwear, and NO writing. The opening edges are straight – ONLY THE TINIEST HINT of edge wear! All these details of blemishes are evident under a strong light – essentially the cover looks new!

For packaging I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All LPs are sent out with the record packed separately from the original cover to stop splits and damage to the cover.
