Description

LEGEND - From the Fjords, 1979 Original LP Only 500 Were Made. This is the Original Version Not the Reprint. It has the "Viking God" and "LEGEND Logo" on the Record Label. This is the "Holy Grail of Heavy Metal" according to some websites.

The Record Album itself is VG++. No scratches. Does not even look like it may even have been played. The Insert Lyric Sheet is VG+. The Front Cover Jacket is VG but has some wear on the bottom and has some air pockets in the middle.

Back in 1979, at a time when the biggest thing in Music was Disco, these guys were working out in their garage with the beginnings of what came to be known as epic/heavy metal. The album has the highest ratings on any metal website, and is a legendary "Milestone in creative Heavy Metal."

Kevin Nugent on 6 & 12 string electric guitars and lead vocals, Raymond E. Frigon on drums, cymbals, gongs, tuned and tuned percussion, and vocals. Fred Melillo on fretted and frettless bass, octave and flanged bass. LEGEND were "The GROUP" Sadly, Kevin passed away in 1983, but Ray and Fred are still around, and I read a nice interview Fred gave on one of the many metal websites. According to the interview, even Fred only has one copy

LEGEND "From the Fjords" 1979 Empire Records A1186. Album Design & logos Ioannis for Colossus Enterprises. Vinyl Gutter Inner Groove: Side A: A11186A; Side B: A11186B. There are also the initials FW on both sides, followed by something that looks like a greek lowercase sigma with a dot in it.
