FIRST PRESSING WITH ORIGINAL 2’X3’ FOLD OUT POSTER COVER.

There are 2 other copies of this LP presently on eBay as of 6-22-2016.  One is NM and is sitting at $85 right now.  The other is at $70.

Very tough to find.  The foldout poster cover often made it onto the wall but not back to protecting the cover.  As far as I can tell, this LP was never reissued on CD. It was originally distributed in loose fitting shrink wrap (AND THIS COPY IS A FIRST PRESS AND IS STILL IN THE SHRINK).  Very nice piece and quite rare now days.

Punk rockers from Del Mar, California (just north of San Diego) that rocked the SoCal punk world with their first two LP releases and live gigs.  Wikipedia says:  “Legal Weapon are a Southern California punk band, initially composed of singer Kat Arthur, guitarist Brian Hansen, drummer Charlie Vartanian, bassist Patricia Morrison (formerly of Bags and later of The Gun Club, The Sisters of Mercy and The Damned) and guitarist Mike R. Livingston.  The band's early full-length albums Death of Innocence (on which their lineup included Steve Soto and Frank Agnew of The Adolescents) and Your Weapon were well received; its later efforts less so. With her powerful voice, Kat Arthur is often called "the Janis Joplin of punk".

I found this at Wax Trax Record Shop in Denver, Colorado in 1982 and it was recommended to me by a friend that worked there. Stored vertically in a smoke free environment for 34 years.
